Predictions for the Hottest Atlanta Neighborhoods for 2018 are in! What makes a neighborhood jump up on the “hot list”? According to Hotpads, “To sleuth out next year’s hottest places to live, we looked at four factors that indicate strong demand: expected rent and home value increases in 2018, fewer price cuts, and an increasing number of page views on HotPads listings”. Fewer price cuts is a major factor since it shows homes are flying off the market with no need for price reductions. Below are the predicted top three “hottest” neighborhoods for 2018.
#1 – Peachtree Heights West

Located east of Peachtree Road in Buckhead, Peachtree Heights West is a very desirable location, with its tree lined streets and beautiful craftsman homes. The location offers endless shopping, dining and entertainment options and is just down the road from the Lindbeigh MARTA station increasing ease of public transportation.
#2 – Grove Park

Grove Park is located on the west side of Atlanta, just outside of West Midtown. While this area is certainly still up-and-coming it offers much more affordable housing options while still being able to enjoy to all that West Midtown has to offer. It’s location also gives you easy interstate access to I20W and I285W.
#3 – Ormewood Park

Ormewood Park sits just south of I20E, right in between Grant Park and East Atlanta.
